1991 CNI launched the “China Praises relief”, called on all distributors to donate for flood victims. 1996 Established “Township projects” to improve township peoples’ health, basic education and entrepreneurial skills. 1999 Organised “Pentas Cintai Malaysia”, to the theme of ethnic cultural performances, and successfully attracted millions of active participation. 2000 Organised “Share Your Clothes, Share Your Love”, had success-fully donated 6 containers of used clothes for Bosnia, Vietnam and Cambodia. This initiative was included in the Malaysian Record Volumes. CNI Foundation contributed 20 tones of essential food items to the National Food Fund in Malaysia. 2002 Organised the International Dragon & Lion Dance Federation, in association with Federation of Selangor & Federal Territory Dragon & Lion Dance Association , The World Dragon Lion Dance Championship was successfully held in Kuala Lumpur, attracted 21 teams from 10 countries and the Malaysia teams won both the Lion and Dragon dance categories with their skilful performances. 2003 The “Konsert Harmoni Keranamu Malaysia” which was organised by CNI, CNI Foundation & Pusat Khidmat Masyarakat Putrajaya, Prime Minister’s Department, was successfully held at Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil Kuala Lumpur on 1 st September 2003. It officiated open by HRH Malaysia. Liaison Office in “Yellow river Chorus Performance” with Nanyang Siang Pau, and officiated by the Malaysian Minister of Housing & Local Government, YB Ong Ka Ting. 2004 Celebrating the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and China, CNI Foundation organised the musical drama “Liu San Jie” which was strongly supported by Guangxi Tourism Bureau, and invited the famous 60’s chanteuse, Huang Wanqiu, give new representation to “Liu San Jie” with Malaysia’s song, dance and music elite; the performance added extra value and impact to Chinese culture. |
